Festive Decor Spreads Holiday Cheer

Festive+Decor+Spreads+Holiday+Cheer

The wellness center kicks off the holiday season with festive new decorations. The display includes three symbols of holiday traditions, a Christmas tree, a menorah, and a kinara. The collection of classic holiday decorations represents the celebrations of Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and Christmas on campus.

The display of holiday spirit was organized by Camille Garcia, advisor of the Youth and Wellness Council in Sonoma. Camille received input from the students of the Youth Council regarding what they would prefer to see in the Wellness Center, who suggested a diverse representation of the holiday season. Camille feels “It gets students excited to see the campus have more spirit, but it’s important to be mindful to represent everyone.”
