“Challenging but fun,” claims Mary Gallo when asked her experience in the VVAL playoffs.

  The playoffs were held at Vintage High School and our tennis team sent six players to compete. Singles players were Lilly Raaka and Olivia Weisinger. The two doubles pair were Mary Gallo with Eden Scheiblich and Erin Gylfe with Hannah Walton.

   Olivia Weisiger explained that the atmosphere of the bigger high school was very competitive. Her playoff appearance was against a player from Casa Grande, to whom she lost 1-6 4-6.

   Gallo and Scheiblich lost to Justin Siena. Gallo said, “The people we played were really good; I think they were the top solo players on their team.”
