After a moment of uncertainty, the SVHS track team is back and better than ever. When the school announced that there would possibly be no track team due to the lack of a coach, many students were left disappointed about their athletic futures. However, the team has been revived and is being led by none other than John Litzenberg.

The school’s cross country coach, Coach John, agreed to take on the additional responsibility of coaching the track team. This was exciting news for both students who had worked with him in the past as well as students who are joining the team for the first time.

They are now having practices throughout the week, and their first meet will occur on Saturday, March 4.
