Projected to be completed in the spring of 2021, the new sports complex parallel to the school itself has seen significant changes in the past months.

The complex calls for one full-size baseball field accompanied by two softball fields as well as an open area with natural turf.

Shaan Sandhu, junior who runs by the location of the facilities every morning states that “there actually appears to be a lot of progress made in the last couple of months. I have seen faint outlines of the new fields and buildings and I can’t wait to see the finished product!”

The focal point of the complex will be the soccer/football field that will be able to hold 1,000 enthusiastic Dragon fans and students.

If needed, the field will be able to expand its seating to accommodate 2,500 guests for larger events such as graduation ceremonies.

The process to start development on the 15 million dollar facilities was extensive, as many heated discussions had been held over the six years after it had been introduced.

Many students are eager for the opportunity to show their school spirit and support their teams in the bleachers of the new stadium.
