One of Sonoma Valley High School’s new clubs this year lets students have fun with needles.
The school’s sewing club, which is called Stitched Up, teaches students the importance of knowing how to repair clothes. They can also learn how to sew almost anything they want.
Senior Vivi McCambridge says, “It’s a pretty cool club where people just come in and chill while learning how to sew.”
As of early February, club members were learning how to sew a bag made from upholstery fabric.
The club mainly focuses on sewing different articles of clothing. It meets in Mrs. Fox’s class, H16, every Wednesday during lunch.
