The Floral Design class celebrated Valentine’s Day by crafting greeting cards for the special day. Students used dried petals and tacking glue to decorate their cards, including quotes and Valentines’ messages.
The dried petals were sourced from leftover bouquets that the students had previously made. The students held an event on January 18th in the Floral Design classroom where they sold Rose Bouquets for $20 each and 2 for $35.
The floral design teacher Ms. Jones had the brilliant idea to dry out the leftover flower petals to use them for Valentine’s Day cards!
