For SVHS sports, shortened seasons and smaller teams have been the story of the year. However with that, many underclassmen have risen to the occasion and played hard for varsity sports teams.

Varsity basketball has four sophomores and two freshmen in their rotation, one of the freshmen, Will Breall even starts for the Dragons.

The Lady Dragons basketball have four freshmen on varsity and two of them, Presley Sorenson and Siena Hoban start for the squad.

Varsity volleyball, the  most successful team, has three sophomores that are good role players. 

The girls’ soccer team has six underclassmen and has posted an impressive record of 5-3-1.

This varsity experience for the underclassmen should benefit future teams.
