Drought Dos and Don’t

California is a state that struggles with drought over the years. To complicate the situation the fire season occurs earlier.

On a more personal scale, there are ways to help stop the drought by reducing how much water you use in a day.

Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency due to the drought, the emergency covers 30% of California, 98% of all of California is living in drought-like conditions.

A change in climate is mostly to fault, however the recent fires of the past year have taken a major toll not just on those living in California but California itself.

Limiting water usage is critical in times of drought, such as taking shorter showers, washing cars less frequently and turning off facets all the way to avoid drips.
