COVID, One Year Later

March 14 marks the one year anniversary of COVID-19 spreading across the entire world. In that time, the world has seen toilet paper shortages, riots, and now vaccines.
With some schools slowly going back to hybrid, and Texas declaring that COVID rules no longer apply, it’s safe to assume that in the near future the world will be returning to as normal as the world can be. 2020 and the start of 2021 has been a year(s) for the ages.
President Biden has stated that he would like to send students back to school five days a week, SVHS is slated to go back on March 29, or near that date. However this will be in a hybrid model, and students will be on campus two days a week, depending on the students last name letter.
Senior Stephen O’Neil was asked, what is one drastic change that happened to you from March of 2020 to March of 2021, “The most drastic change that happened was my fitness. I kind of let myself go at the beginning of quarantine but I’ve been getting into fitness and now I feel a lot better about myself since I didn’t like just sitting around my room all day”, quoted O’Neil
