Mrs. Tamony, new math teacher, love a sense of community

Mrs. Tamony, a new math teacher at SVHS, teaches 9th grade algebra. She can teach most math classes ranging from 6th grade math to calculus.
She wanted to teach at SVHS, “I live very close to SVHS and I love the close community. My partner has two sons that are freshmen this year, so I thought it would be good timing that all three of us become Dragons together at the same time!”
Mrs Tamony’s relationship with online school, “I think students are learning, but I really miss the connections with my students. I love to teach because of the kids – so I really miss the daily in person interactions.”
Mrs. Tamony has taught for 18 years, “I would want to manage a charitable foundation. That basically means I would get to determine what worthy causes and charities should get money from a charitable foundation. Basically giving money away to deserving people.”
Mrs. Tamony attended UC Berkeley, “Go Bears!” She graduated from Carondelet High School in Concord. “Making a difference in someone’s life” is what matters most to Mrs. Tamony.
Her favorite places to vacation are “Hawaii or any scuba diving locations.”
She is also an avid pet lover. She has “two dogs (Charlie and Ollie), one cat (Nacho) and one fish Bob.”
