Holiday Donation Centers In Sonoma

The holiday season is a time to appreciate all that you have. Many families in Sonoma are fortunate enough to have a place to stay and dinner on the table every night, but there are still some families that do not.

Holiday donation centers are an opportunity for the fortunate to give items such as toys, food, jackets and money to those in need. There are many different locations and ways to donate in Sonoma County listed below.

Jewelry Jubilee & Winter Coat Drive (Nov. 30, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m at The General’s Daughter, 400 West Spain St. Sonoma, 95476.) Bring unwanted coats and jewelry to donate to women and children.

FISH (Friends in Sonoma Helping) (PO Box 507, Sonoma) Donate canned goods, dry food and more to build the classic holiday baskets. Money is also very helpful and all donations can be sent to the address above or dropped off at many different locations around town including the Sonoma library and Safeway.

Salvation Army (721 S McDowell Blvd, Petaluma, CA 94954) “We’re anticipating between 1,300 and 1,500 families in need of food and toys,” said Salvation Army Capt. Dan Whipple in an interview with the Press Democrat. Salvation Army is partnering with Toys for Tots.

La Luz Center (17560 Greger St, Sonoma, CA 95476) La Luz is asking for money donations to go towards their services, including their health and wellness, education, and financial security programs for immigrants in Sonoma.
