On February 16, a beloved member of the Sonoma County community, Val Robichaud, passed from cardiac arrest. Val was an influential editor and publisher of the Sonoma Valley Sun, and a passionate writer as well as an advocate for the Sonoma County community. Vals’ daughter, Annie Robichaud is a SVHS alumni and a Dragon’s Tale reporter. Annie has been studying abroad in Florence, Italy. Annie is devastated by the loss of her, “best friend and the funniest person I’ve ever known” she mentioned to the Sonoma Index Tribune. There is a gofundme page dedicated to help support Annie through this tough time. The SVHS Dragon’s Tale sends its condolences to our friend in journalism.
