One Last Rally for 2023

The Leadership class hosted the spring school rally in the gym on Friday, April 7, the final rally of the year. Each spring sport was introduced one by one, with some teams keeping up the tradition of performing a dance at the rally for the rest of the school. The theme of this rally was “Glow in the Dark,” and many students wore bright colors that would glow when the regular lights were cut and replaced with blacklights.

The rally featured a special performance from the dance team after all the spring sports finished,  as well as games and competitions for the students to participate in.

At the end of the rally, each of the four grades at the high school individually took part in a tradition of saying the Sonoma chant in unison with their class, the last time for the year. Zackary Yankee, senior, reflected, ”I’m really glad they started adding themes to the rallies, it makes it more fun to attend and participate in.”

With the last rally of the year in the books, students look forward to finishing the spring sports season and getting ready for prom and graduation.
