The culinary wing approaches its final phase of construction as students and staff eagerly wait for the new facility to be finished. All kitchens have been updated and several new additions to the culinary arts facility awaits students.

A new baking and designated dishwashing area has been added as well as a walk-in refrigerator and freezer. The culinary classroom is now separated from the kitchens and is located where the old engineering lab was. Culinary Arts teacher, Mr. Beard remarked, “I think it should be done by the end of the month. It’s very exciting. ”

The windows from where the old No Name Cafe was have been updated and modernized. Culinary students will be able to serve the community of SVHS baked goods and espresso drinks. A promising future of cooking anticipates the culinary students of SVHS.
