  Your cell phone is not only harming your mind, but also messing with your body. Our handheld devices are degrading our health in ways we do not even realize.

  Due to the increase in couples using smartphones and checking the internet frequently, as well as the effects of radiation, libido is decreased, distancing people even further from their significant others.

   Libido is your sex-drive which is important to individuals basic functioning because it controls hormonal balance as well stable energy. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the need to have sex is depleting due to cell phone use, which is concerning for society, and individuals.  

  According to Bayer, a pharmaceutical company, cell phone and internet use is responsible for lower libido in 25% of women. Due to the dangerous radiation that constantly comes off smartphones, and all other electronic devices, sex drive decreases significantly.   

  Additionally, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, “men who regularly carry their mobile phone near the groin, on a belt or in a pocket, could potentially have their sperm reduced as much as thirty percent.” They also stated that “EMFs have been shown to affect other reproductive and miscellaneous aspects of birth, such as low birth weight, difficulty becoming pregnant, and libido.”

  Since EMFs and radiation from cell phone use has resulted in decreased libido, the question of how to avoid this is raised. Simple solutions include lowering cell phone use and turning off devices whenever possible. According to the CDC, another way to avoid this is to use EMF protection shields such as radiation proof cell phone cases.
