Sabrina Baker’s Sugar Cookies

 

Ingredients:

1 cup butter (softened)

1 cup sugar

1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla

3 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

 

Preheat the oven to 375º F.

  • Cream the butter and sugar until it’s fluffy
  • Add egg and vanilla, then mix well
  • Add the flour, baking powder, and salt; mix just until combined
  • Roll the dough to about ¼ inch thickness
  • Cut with desired cookie cutters. Place on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden on the bottom
